Quick Turnaround
Two bad innings. That’s all it took for the Burlington Bees to lose 6-4 to the Kane County Cougars on Saturday night. With the score tied at four, the Bees gave up runs in the sixth and seventh innings. The first four batters reached base in the sixth inning before RHP Drew Tyson induced a double play ground ball by Juan Graterol. The Bees issued three walks in the seventh inning with the lone run scoring on a wild pitch.
Josh Whitaker didn’t homer in his fourth straight game on Saturday but he is still red hot. He is hitting .368 over his last five (7-19) and 10 (14-38) games.
