Its a few hours before the Bees begin a three-game series with the Kane County Cougars here in Burlington and I’m still not sure how the Bees lost two out of three in Clinton. Bees’ pitchers struck out 34 Clinton hitters over the three-game weekend series.

If that wasn’t enough to yield a few wins, a couple Bees were just “raking” in Clinton. Tony Thompson went 5-11 with four RBI and Royce Consigli went 7-14 with five RBI. With numbers like that you would think the Bees could have taken two out of three against Clinton but as the cliché says, “that’s baseball.”
