Tonight the Bees are back at home to take on the Quad Cities River Bandits in the first of a three-game series. The Bees return home following a brief three-game road swing in Cedar Rapids. Some random thoughts ahead of tonight’s game follow:
Max Peterson’s 0.0 IP performance Tuesday was the shortest outing of the season for a Bees reliever in 2011. The outing was also tied for the shortest outing of his career set back against Peoria on September 3, 2010 as a member of the Kane County Cougars. The four home runs allowed Tuesday were the most given up by Bees pitching in a single game this season.
